White Oak UMC – Content is king!

Tony Burgess e-mailed me about his church’s new site, currently hosted at wordpress.com. This has to be one of the best examples of a WordPress-driven church web site, I’ve seen.

It isn’t a fancy web site that will attract people to the gospel; its a living, breathing Christ-centred community.

SHINE website goes live

shineSHINE is an organisation that aims to resource the local churches in St Helens. One of my latest projects has been to move their website over to use WordPress. The site is using my LivingOS PSI theme. You can check it out here.

There is even a cathedral on the list!
So here are a few more churches that have picked up these themes and made their presence felt on the web.

WordPress Driven Church?

I got into WordPress, recognising it was a great solution for church websites. My first WP theme designed specifically for churches has been downloaded 109 times to date too. So I thought I’d keep a note of where WordPress is working for churches. Those using my LivingOS Alpha theme:

And the rest of the WordPress driven church scene….

If you are using WordPress for a church website or have a theme that fits a church application (and are willing to share) then let me know and I’ll include it here.
